The new Mustang will use a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine to provide better performance data when compared to the older 3.7-liter V6 engine. It is reported that Ford’s transient overboost technology is unique to the Mustang calibration, thus providing more and better acceleration torque. Ford claims that the legendary 5.0-liter V8 engine has been heavily rewritten for better performance. In addition to the manual selection, the engine option will also provide the new car with a 10-speed car on the runaway automatic transmission.
