Ford Ecosport facelift likely to launch in January 2017

Ford’s EcoSport, a popular choice, is also a considerable contributor to the company’s overall sales. The cosmetic version, released at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2016, was set for its Indian launch in January 2017. The new model will also be introduced into the US market. As for India, the change will be limited to cosmetic and functional upgrades, while the machinery will continue to offer the choice of existing engines.

The new EcoSport Cosmetic will continue to be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine option producing 100 horsepower and 205 nm torque respectively and 110 horsepower and 140 nm torque. In addition, the 1.0-liter Ecoboost engine is likely to continue. As for the international market, the vehicle will use the 1.5-liter “dragon” three-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine and an AWD system.

The upcoming cosmetic version will be redesigned for the headlights and taillights. The front fascia moves the new hexagonal grille and redesigns the bumper. The vehicle is made of new alloy wheels, but most of the profiles with the current version. The interior will be modified with a new steering wheel and synchronized infotainment system with a new color display and a new central console. In terms of pricing the vehicle may be priced between Rs 7.0 majority – Rs 10 million compared to existing prices slightly raised. More details will be released.
