Honda Civic Type-R Black Edition revealed

Current-gen Honda Civic type R is no longer produced. While this may encounter bad news for fans of the popular hot hatch, Honda has ensured that a new generation of citizenship type R will be launched later this year.

To commemorate the last outgoing citizenship type R, Honda has released the black version of the last 100 rolling production lines.

As expected, the Black Edition has a black interior and red accents while the exterior diverges from the standard red tail spoiler end plate spoiler.

Given that the pricing is based on the existing GT model, Honda expects the Black Edition to sell quickly. Current Citizenship with the Production Type R Honda is now finished at Swindon’s factory, and the factory is preparing to sell the next generation of citizens in March. At the same time, the new citizen type R is expected to show in the second half of this year.
