India-made Jeep Compass spied in and out revealing more details

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles  had started testing the Jeep Compass on Indian roads recently. Now, the latest set of spyshots show many features from the cabin of the compact SUV for the first time.

A host of comfort, safety and convenience features can be seen on the test mule. The most evident ones seen in the pictures are a touch screen system, compass, automatic climate control, parking sensors, engine start-stop push button, 12V charging socket, AUX/USB input etc. The centre console gets a knob for the 4WD settings, through which owners can select the drive modes – snow, sand, mud and auto. Despite the compact size of the SUV, the Compass seems to offer generous cabin space and also gets a rear blower for the rear occupants.

India-spec Compass is expected to be powered by a 1.4-liter Multiair petrol engine and a 2.0-liter Multijet II diesel engine. Gasoline units could produce about 140 BHP’s power while diesel units would produce about 170 BHP.
